SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 223-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 16.97 g, 12 h), ΔΕΛ-mint associated with Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 222-211. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left, monogram of ΔΕΛ. HGC 9, 447v. SC 1063. Well struck, perfectly centered, and beautifully toned, a handsome example. Random light marks, otherwise, very fine.
